An other podium in the 2nd race of the season
Red Archer VRT after the first ever official VEC race at Monza finishing P3, went at Spa for the 8 hours race aiming a top 5 position among highly competitive teams.
Ryan Elliott took the car for the start of the race, drove a very safe 3 hours stint avoiding major incidents and car wear always at positions 4 to 7 keeping close distance to front cars.
Matthias Muuss took the wheel for the 2nd drive and was fighting for 2 hours with the big traffic managing to bring the car even closer to the cars in front and in good racing condition.
Tomasz Wach would do the final part of the race, the final 3 hours, trying to get the max out of the car and the strategy.
Fast laps, quick and clean overtakes gave the chance to Tomasz to climb the grid enough to attack for P2 less than an hour before the race end.
Tomasz kept pushing while P1 car was slower and the 8 hours race finished with a gap less than 10 seconds and a well deserved 2nd position in 2nd round of the 2021-2022 VEC championship.
Next stop Road America in 2 month and Red Archer will be there !!
